Abstract: Conventional Value of the Result of Weighing in Air The conventional value of the result of weighing in air, mC, is defined 1,2 as: mC m 1 - o/(20oC)/ 1 - o/ref, (1) where m is the mass of an object, o 1.2 kg/m3 is the reference value of the density of air, ref 8000 kg/m3 is the reference value for the density of the object, and (20oC) is the density of the object at the reference temperature 20oC.
