Title: Turbine Meters As A Liquid Measurement Device
Author: Jack R. Babbitt

Abstract: In a paper presented at a national meeting of some note, attention was directed towards the petroleum and chemical industries with the charge being made that there was too limited usage of turbine flowmeters in these industries as compared to the aerospace industry. Of course, it was pointed out that the use of turbine meters, like everything else , originated in the aerospace industry, and no doubt the Russian aerospace scientists invented it first. However, we should not be too critical of those outside the petroleum industry, but rather take pride in the advancements that have been made within the petroleum and petrochemical industries.
