Abstract: The next 45 minutes will address some of the major problems and solution encountered with gas measurement on offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. The presentation will also stress the importance of competent measurement personnel and their roles in assuring that accurate measurement occurs. Slides that identify actual equipment installations, safety hazards, weather conditions, and logistics problems will be presented.
