Title: Practical Methods And Apparatus For Determination Of Specific Gravity Of Natural Gas
Author: E. L. Rawlins
Source: 1926 Southwestern Gas Measurement Short Course (Now called ISHM)
Year Published: 1926
Abstract: The accuracy of volumetric measurement of natural gas, while flowing, depends largely upon the accurate determination of the specific gravity of the gas. Other factors, such as temperature and compressibility or deviation from Boyles law, must, of course, also be considered, but the present paper will be limited to the discussion of specific gravity and how it can be measured.
