Title: Btu Reduction In Gas Plants

Abstract: The determination of BTU and volume reduction in gas processing plants is a method of accounting for the difference between the inlet MMBTU and the outlet MMBTU in any facility that conditions or processes a natural gas stream. With the current market situation in the natural gas industry, reduced operating margins make rigorous accounting for MMBTU and volume reduction imperative. To insure the validity of data used for this determination, care must be taken so that all methods used are representative of the time period for which you are accounting.
