Abstract: This paper describes an automated phase noise measurement system used to measure phase noise of millimeter wave sources. The delay line used as an FM discriminator is used to measure a single oscillator. Also, two millimeter vave sources can be measured by heterodyning to obtain a low frequency difference in the frequency range where a coaxial delay line can be used.
