Abstract: The supervision of a meter shop falls into two broad areas. The first area has to do with people the leading, instructing, and directing of the detailed operation of the group. The second has to do with the mechanical and technical details of the job: the application of planning, scheduling, production and quality control techniques. Each is equally important. They will be discussed in the order indicated above.
