In thinking about my remarks today I recall a recent high school convocation at which Kalherine Lee Bates America the Beautiful was sung by a mixed choru.s of forty or so young spirited kids. Recall with me the fourth stanza of America the Beautiful. Oh beautiful for patriot dream That sees beyond the years Thine alabaster cities gleam Undimmed by human tears.
