Abstract: This discussion will be a general review of the elements that make up gas contracts. It is not intended to deal with the legal aspects of contracts, but instead, will discuss in a general way the various provisions commonly found in gas contracts. A dictionary defines a contract as an agreement, especially one that is legally enforceable, between two or more persons to do or not to do something. It follows that a gas contract is an agreement between parties which involves natural gas. The gas contracts that will be discussed are those involving the purchase or sale of natural gas.
