Abstract: Gas chromatographs (GCs) are among the most complex instrument systems in a meter station. Yet they require less maintenance than most instruments. Modern chromatograph controllers are equipped with remote diagnostics and computer-based chromatograms to aid users in deciding when and why maintenance is required. The information below is presented to aid the user in troubleshooting chromatograph problems by viewing both diagnostic messages and chromatograms.
