Abstract: Regulator stations are fundamentally critical elements of any natural gas piping system infrastructure. Their primary function is to safely reduce and control gas pressure from a highpressure system to a lower pressure system within prescribed limits. The proper design of regulator stations requires a mixture knowledge, experience, judgment, science and art. It should be noted that every company is different and each regulator station is installed in distinct locations under varying circumstances and operating conditions therefore, there is not one ultimate station design station that fits all applications
