Abstract: The positive displacement dry meter is the type of gas meter used in this country for measuring gas to domestic consumers, and it is also generally used for measuring gas to industrial consumers using less than 17,000 cubic feet of gas per hour. In cases where the consumption is greater than this, meters are often set in batteries that is, two or more in parallel.
