Abstract: The metering options available in todays marketplace for measuring natural gas flow are numerous. A conservative estimate is 50 to at least 75 meters are available to the measurement practitioner. Some meters are well recognized and supported with industry standards such as the orifice, turbine and ultrasonic meters. Other meters are less recognized but may provide acceptable metering performance when installed and operated with technical diligence
