Abstract: Large scale process operations often require the transmission of information from distant points to a central control and monitoring station. This information, in the form of electrical signals, is usually transmitted by telemetering, in which data are coded., transformed into a particular type of signal, and sent to a receiver which demodulates the signal to recover the digital or analog data.
