Abstract: Union Gas is a distribution and a storage and transportation company operating in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. In planning its storage and transportation operations. Unions Gas Control considers both short-term and seasonal operation factors in guiding its operation during peak demand conditions. Although forecasting supply and system demands is important in anticipating changes in its operation it is the continuous feedback from Unions Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System that is the key to controlling Unions operation.
