Abstract: Domestic meter proof has been the subject of numerous papers and responsible for many hours of discussion. It is easily recognized as to why this particular characteristic receives so much attention. The sole purpose of any gas meter is to measure usage. The amount of the usage determines revenue and revenue allows the gas company to exist as an entity. The accuracy of this registration determines the accuracy of the billing. Over the past several years numerous improvements have been made not only to the meters themselves but also to the equipment used to measure meter accuracy.
