Abstract: Chromatographs are among the most complex instrumentation systems encountered in a meter station. Yet they require less maintenance than some much simpler instrumentation. Modern chromatograph controllers are equipped with remote diagnostics and computer-based chromatograms to aid users in deciding when and why maintenance is required. The information below is presented to aid a user in troubleshooting chromatograph problems by viewing both diagnostic messages and chromatograms.
