Abstract: The data presented in the following paper is gathered while designing, installing and operating the Gas Data Acquisition System used in dispatching and measuring gas on the Consumers Power Company-Michigan Gas Storage Company Gas Transmission System. The paper explains the concepts, objectives and operation of the installed system, Accuracies obtained with the automatic system when compared to the integrated chart figures generally are in the range of from 0 to 2% difference on individual city gale flows. This is the range expected when using manufactures stated accuracy figures.
