Abstract: This paper discusses many of the industrial requirements for optical radiation measurement. These requirements have been presented by the Electra-Optics Subcommittee (Chairman Richard Miller) of the NCSL 1982 National Measurement Requirements Committee at the NCSL Boulder Conference, May, 1983. The measurement requirements were broken into three general areas : first, laser measurement requirements second, fiber optic measurement requirements and third, Spectral Radiometry /Photometry! requirements. Each area will be discussed in detail.
