Title: Dimensional Tolerances Of Orifice Meter Tubes Class Number 8100
Author: Stephen T. Stark

Abstract: Fundamental to good orifice measurement are correct design, precise fabrication, and proper maintenance. An orifice meter tube that is not fabricated and maintained to geometric tolerances specified in the standard is considered outside measurement accuracy tolerances and may cause a measurement bias. The verification of orifice meter tube dimensional tolerances is essential to the confirmation of an orifice meters precision.
