The following organizations played a significant role in the creation and maintenance of the Measurement Library. Several of these organizations have their own disclaimers
CEESI initially the developed the Measurement Library in order to disseminate information about fluid measurement issues to the measurement community.
In addition, CEESI continues to work with a variety of organizations to add downloadable PDFs and bibliographic references to the library. CEESI's services include: Flow Meter Calibrations, Wet Gas Testing, Training, and Specialty Testing. To learn more about CEESI, visit www.ceesi.com.
The Pipeline Research Council International, or PRCI, has supplied an extensive amount funding and bibliographic references to the library as a service to the oil and gas industry.
A variety of papers are available only for immediate download to PRCI members; members should access this library through the PRCI website in order to unlock the download option on many PDF's. To learn more about PRCI, visit www.prci.org.
The International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) has permitted all but the most recent year as available for download.
In the early 1970's, the organization currently known as ISHM was called the "Southwestern Gas Measurement Short Course"; proceedings from this era are all available for download.
To learn more about ISHM, visit www.ishm.info.
The North American Fluid Flow Measurement Council, which organizes the International Symposium on Fluid Flow Measurement, has permitted previous proceedings to be included in this library.
Papers can currently be downloaded for symposia held in
To learn more about ISFFM, visit www.isffm.org.
The Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course is an annual event that focuses on educating the natural gas community in North America.
The AGMSC has granted permission for library users to download all proceedings. To learn more about AGMSC, visit www.agmsc.com.
American School of Gas Measurement Technologies (ASGMT) has granted permission for library users to download all but the most recent proceedings.
ASGMT used to be called the "Gulf Coast Measurement Short Course".
To learn more about ASGMT, visit www.asgmt.com.
The Western Gas Measurement Short Course (WGMSC) purpose is to educate personnel of the gas industry to gas measurement and gas control.
WGMSC seeks to improve the quality of service, advance the knowledge and learning, and provide a benefit to the gas industry.
Prior to the 1980's the organization was known as the Pacific Northwest Gas Measurement and Control Short Course.
To learn more about WGMSC, visit www.wgmsc.org.
NEL and the FMI (Flow Measurement Institute) have taken a coordinated approach to make the majority of papers /presentations from their major events available to download.
This includes the South-East Asia Hydrocarbon Flow Measurement Workshop (20xx – date), the North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop (even numbered years from 19xx – date) and the FMI conference (2015 – date).
NEL provides flow measurement and fluid mechanics services (consultancy, test and research) to the global oil & gas supply chain.
It maintains the UK’s national flow measurement standards on behalf of the UK government.
Having initiated the event over 30 years ago, NEL provides technical leadership, coordination and management of the NSFMW jointly with TEKNA.
FMI is a virtual organization formed in 2016 to provide leadership and facilitate collaboration in the flow measurement community.
The founding partners, NEL and University of Coventry, are supported by over 400 affiliated organization and individual members who have expressed an interest in flow measurement leadership, R&D, infrastructure and/or skills.
To learn more about the NEL, visit www.tuvnel.org.
To learn more about the FMI, visit www.flowmeasure.org.
The Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (CsHm) has permitted all of their proceedings to be available for download.
To learn more about CsHm, visit www.cshm.ca.
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) contributed a large volume of measurement related documents that were in the public domain. To learn more about NIST, visit www.nist.gov.
The Acadiana Flow Measurement Society (AFMS) granted permission to allow documents from its technical library to be a part of the Measurement Library in order to benefit the flow measurement community.
To learn more about the Acadiana Flow Measurement Society, visit www.afms.org.
CEESI would like to acknowledge and thank Steve Stark of Stark & Associates, Inc. for contributed a large quantity of International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) proceedings to this technical library.
His hope was that information in the proceedings would benefit the flow measurement community, and specifically those within the oil and gas industry.
To learn more about Stark & Associates, visit www.starkassoc.com.
CEESI would like to thank Dr. Tom Arnberg for contributing a variety of flow measurement related documents to this library.
In addition, CEESI would also like to thank Steve Gage for contributing numerous volumes of the Southern Gas Measurement Short Course (later known as ISHM) as well as additional rare flow measurement volumes.
